CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Every certified Professional Bowenwork Practitioner must complete 32 contact hours of Bowenwork/Bowtech-approved continuing education every two years, with the requirement due on the anniversary of the certification date.
There are three Categories of continuing education classes (listed below). Please refer to our Modules 1-7 and Modules 8-12 pages for more detailed information related to the modules listed in each of the three categories.
CE classes are meant to enhance your base knowledge and skills, develop and refine new skills, and connect with other professionals for networking and thought-sharing opportunities. The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia requires a certain amount of structure pertaining to how you use your 32-hours of continuing education over any two-year period. These requirements include the following:
- Download the Continuing Education Requirements in PDF.
- You must dedicate at least 16 hours to revising and refining the basic skills taught in Modules 1-6 (Category 1).
- Your remaining 16 hours can come from any of the classes listed among the three categories with a maximum of 8 hours from Category 3.
In addition, you must attend a minimum of one Practitioner Day A and one Practitioner Day B (as listed in Category 1) in any four year period.
